4th Grade: Dress Like an Idiom Day

Our 4th graders brought idioms to life as they dressed to show the figurative meaning behind familiar phrases. From “raining cats and dogs” and “feeling blue” to “social butterfly” and “ace up your sleeve”, the costumes were incredibly clever. See if you can guess the others!

(break a leg, under the weather, walking on sunshine, penny for your thoughts, cut to the chase, game on, ace up your sleeve, going the extra mile, saved by the bell, blessing in disguise, when pigs fly, copycats, low key)
