BLOG: Protected by His Angels

For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; – Psalm 91:11

As Thanksgiving approaches, it is natural to think about the blessings we can see: the laughter of our children, the warmth of family, the beauty of community. But this verse reminds us to also give thanks for the unseen, the protection and presence of God that surrounds us each day.

At King’s Ridge, safety is more than a physical concept; it is a spiritual commitment. We work daily to ensure that every child is protected not only through systems and structures but through prayer, presence, and purpose. The peace our students experience each day is born out of the confidence that this campus belongs to the Lord. Every classroom, every playground, every moment of learning rests under His covering.

It is easy to forget, in the busyness of school life, that God’s angels are actively at work around us, guiding, shielding, and protecting our children. I often think about how this truth impacts the way we teach, lead, and love. When students know that their worth and safety come from the Lord, they learn to live with confidence rather than fear. They learn that faith is not fragile but foundational.

As you gather with family this Thanksgiving, may you rest in the assurance that the same God who watches over your home is the One who guards your child each day at King’s Ridge. We are humbled and grateful for your trust, your prayers, and your partnership in this shared mission. Together, we are building more than an excellent school; we are building a Christ-centered school where children are known, loved, and protected.

With deep gratitude,
