“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:14-17 NIV
Therefore, KRCS teaches the entire Bible as the inspired Word of God, educating students in an age-appropriate manner on the history, interpretation, and application of the scriptures so that students may know, serve, and believe God and be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
As a non-denominational Christian school, students are equipped with biblical knowledge and are encouraged to prayerfully seek God’s wisdom and truth through His Word, as well as the counsel of their parents and the beliefs of their respective traditions. Students are encouraged to study scripture and to see all the things they are learning in school, observing in the world, and experiencing in their lives from a biblical perspective.
We believe that teaching a biblical perspective on life and education is essential to our passion for bringing students into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We will remain unwavering in our commitment to weaving biblical teaching throughout all of our academic disciplines.
Consistent with our Statement of Faith, KRCS will teach that the Bible tells us that God loves all of His children, that He gave His only Son to save all those who believe in Jesus as their Savior, and that His Holy Spirit lives in those who accept His saving grace. As followers of Christ, we are commanded to love one another as He loves us. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will transform the hearts and renew the minds of all students in our community as they are taught the Bible.
“Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; if we endure, we will also reign with Him. If we disown Him, He will also disown us; if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot disown Himself. Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value and only ruins those who listen. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” - 2 Timothy 2:11-15 NIV
